With relaxing spa treatments and activities for all ages, there is really everything you need all in the same place; and we cannot highlight enough just how amazing the food is! We’ve had the wonderful opportunity to attend many events at Cavallo Point, and the culinary experience is just incredible!
The lovely Jessica Winthrop gives us a peek behind the food and into their kitchen:
I would describe our food at Cavallo Point as California Cuisine – locally sourced, organic and fresh, with French and Asian influences. Our wedding menus feature beautiful food in ample portions, so your guests feel well taken care of and satisfied. All of our catered meals are prepared just before service, so you get the freshest possible outcome. Nothing is ever frozen, or cooked hours in advance and left waiting in a hot box. Additionally, we offer a beautiful synchronized service at the table, where each guests receives their meal at the same time, in perfect harmony. This really adds a level of style to the meal.
We offer an extremely inclusive tasting experience where I spend 2-3 hours with each couple sampling food, and discussing the flow of their event, as well as special offerings that we can add to make the day more special to them. Additionally, for couples who choose to offer a “First Bite,” our chef will work with them on using a favorite protein and style of cooking to create a special course just for them. I try to work with each couple to showcase their personality on their wedding day, whether that might come across through a dessert station featuring rustic house-made candies, or a late night snack of mini grilled cheese sandwiches with spicy mustard dipping sauce.
