Request More InfoIdeal Guest Count
- The Main Dining Room and City Club Cafe combined can easily host a lavish ceremony and reception for up to 200 guests
- If you would like to include a dance-floor, we recommend keeping the guest count to under 150
Recommended Event Flow
- If not getting married off-site, I love using the cafe for the ceremony as the fireplace makes for an amazing backdrop
- The foyer, stairs, and the bar are near the cafe making it easy to multi-purpose this room for after the ceremony
- Move your guests upstairs for dinning
- While your guests are dinning, transform the cafe into a lounge fit for dancing the night away!
Catering and Facilities
- Catering at the City Club is provided and there is not an option for outside resources; however, their culinary staff is simply amazing
- Included with your rental ~ glass encased tea-lights, linens and napkins, champagne toast, one hour hosted full bar, round tables, chivari chairs, and dance-floor
The Bottom Line
- The rental fee for the facility on a Saturday evening can run between $2,500 and $3,000
- The Club does have a strict food and beverage minimum, so an average wedding will run between $15,000 and $30,000
Color Palettes, Themes, and Design
- The gold gilded ceilings, ebony windows, and vintage lighting allow for a ‘period’ wedding theme
- Think Great Gatsby!
- The rooms are so gorgeous alone, little additional decor is needed
- Lighting is a great investment so help showcase the existing architecture
Entertainment and Photography
- Entertainment options are limitless – the acoustics are wonderful and the grandeur of the rooms make for a great party
- Consider a harp or piano for the ceremony, then switch to a small jazz band during dinner, followed by a larger band for dancing
- The architecture and styling of this gorgeous venue can add so much to your photos
- Also, take advantage of the City – be sure to have your photographer take you out to the streets
Let’s Talk
- The food and beverage minimums at first glance are on the upper scale. But keep in mind, you are paying a modest fee for the room, and everything is included; your service staff, place settings, linens, tables, and chairs. Bottom line – you got a lot of bang for your buck
- The site is one of the easiest to work with as they do so much on site, making life so much easier
