Ideal Guest Count

• The patio can easily accommodate between 150 and 200 ceremony guests
• The bar and lounge can hold 100 to 120 people for cocktails after the ceremony
• A reception for 200 wedding guests can be held in the amazingly stunning Ballroom
• For smaller weddings, think about renting the Salon or Garden where you can have 10 – 40 of your closest family and friends

Recommended Event Flow

• Have your ceremony by the facility’s ornamental iron garden gazebo
• Then, toast to your new life together with a glass of champagne hosted in the saloon
• Move your guests to the patio that is ideal for a festive outdoor affair where they can dine under soft white clouds and a deep blue sky
• The Ballroom is then available to be set up as a cabaret, complete with a large center dance floor, tall and short cocktail tables dotting the perimeter of the room, and lots of twinkling candles to help set the scene

Catering and Facilities

• All catering and beverage services must be facilitated by licensed and insured companies – the Club’s preferred vendor list includes some of the Bay Area’s finest
• The Club has a very liberal beverage policy, but they do prefer beer and wine
• Montclair is perfectly suited to host an outdoor garden ceremony with an indoor reception
• Have your guests enter the ceremony from the outside walkway in order to keep the bold colors of the club’s interior hidden until you’re are ready for the grand unveiling: you are sure to get a positive response!

The Bottom Line

• The rental fee will run between $3,500 – 6,000 for an eight hour window
• Traditional tables and chairs are included as part of your rental fee

Color Palettes, Themes, and Design

• Visualize a festive party with a roaring 20’s Beau Arts theme where flappers, flowers, and fan dancers are all at home
• Incorporate feathery garlands around the gazebo’s borders to take advantage of the soft movement of the breeze
• Use palettes including raspberry, teal, or deep Victorian red for table linens, or else use a completely neutral canvas of ecru, champagne, or pearl
• A Vintage theme looks absolutely amazing at this venue, or consider a Beaux Arts inspired setting

• As an accomplished singer and musical promoter, Barbara Price has amazing musical connections
• If you are looking for a 40′s swing band, she has you covered; if you are looking for a a solo pianist, she has you covered
• The building’s simple Spanish architecture is an amazing camouflage for its brightly-colored interior – both spaces create amazing photographic opportunities
